Dr.
Herbert K. Land, III has been proudly practicing orthodontics for 22
years. His undergraduate studies were completed at North Carolina State
University in 1977. He received his dental degree from Emory University
in 1982 and his specialized orthodontics certificate from the University
of Pennsylvania in 1984. In 2000, Dr. Land became a Diplomate of the
American Board of Orthodontics, the highest designation awarded in the
field of orthodontics and a distinction held by only 20% of orthodontists
nationally. Dr. Land's family includes his wife, Elizabeth, daughter, Caroline, and son, Bradley. Besides being an Eagle Scout, his hobbies include travel, dancing and perennial gardening. During the school year, he volunteers time at the Wakefield Elementary School media center. In the summer, you may find Dr. Land participating as a ribbon judge for the Wakefield Tsunami Swim Team. In January 2004, Dr. Land began teaching resident students at a local university. He has found his teaching experience to be extremely rewarding. |
